Truth® Multi-Point Vertical Rod Sliding Door Lock

The Truth EntryGard® Vertical Rod Mortise Lock is a specialized hardware component designed for sliding doors, commonly used by Marvin® and other door manufacturers. This multi-point lock operates with vertical rods (not included) that latch the door at both the top and bottom of the sliding panel, ensuring secure and stable closure for larger or heavier doors.

This particular product—Truth part 40504—has been discontinued by the manufacturer and is no longer available for new installations. It is intended as a direct replacement for existing vertical rod systems previously sold with certain sliding door units. Rods and handles are not included with this lock, and replacement rods are no longer available. Customers should retain and reuse the original rods from their existing hardware whenever possible.

The faceplate of this lock measures 1/2" x 5-1/4" (12.7mm x 133.4mm), with screw hole spacing at 4-3/4" (120.7mm). The lock body itself is 3-7/8" (98.4mm) long.
