This is a replacement keeper for a Truth Hardware sash lock, used on double-hung and horizontal sliding windows to engage the lock cam and hold the sash closed. It mounts with two screws and works with standard Truth sash lock assemblies. Part number 500527.

The 500527 is a replacement keeper (strike) designed to work with Truth Hardware sash locks commonly found on double-hung and horizontal sliding windows. When the sash lock cam rotates, it engages this keeper to pull the sashes tight together and secure the window.
Keepers are one of the most commonly lost or damaged parts during window service and painting. If your sash lock will not stay engaged, the keeper is often the culprit rather than the lock itself.
This part is a resale item — we stock and ship it, but it is manufactured by Truth Hardware.
