This Truth 40638 sash lock keeper is the strike plate half of a lock set for single- and double-hung windows, commonly used by Hayfield and other window brands. It measures 2" (50.8mm) wide by 1-1/16" (27.0mm) tall with 1" (25.4mm) slotted screw holes. Sold as the keeper only; screws are not included.

Truth 40638 Sash Lock Keeper for Single- and Double-Hung Windows
The Truth 40638 is the keeper (strike) portion of a sash lock assembly used on single- and double-hung windows. It catches and holds the cam of the sash lock when the window is closed, keeping the two sashes drawn tightly together.
This keeper is commonly found on Hayfield windows and has been used by a number of other window manufacturers as well. It is made of zinc die-cast for durability and comes in your choice of available finish.
The slotted screw holes allow for minor adjustment during installation, so you can fine-tune the keeper's position for a snug, secure lock.
