This Truth 40.70.02.102.1 Modern / Contemporary 13" sliding patio door handle is designed as an inactive (dummy) trim for sliding patio doors. The handle features fixed levers and does not engage any locking mechanism, making it suitable for installations where only a stationary handle set is required. The flat/matte black finish lends a contemporary look that complements a variety of door styles and interior designs.

Commonly used in both residential and commercial settings, this handle can be installed on aluminum, wood, vinyl, or composite sliding doors. It is compatible with doors using single, 2-point, or 3-point mortise locks with hooks, though this particular set has no key cylinder and does not operate any lock. The escutcheon measures 13" (330.2mm) long and 1-1/4" (31.8mm) wide, while screw holes are spaced 11-15/16" (303.2mm) apart for straightforward installation. The stile thickness range supported is 1-1/4" to 2-1/4" (32-57mm).

The handle is constructed with a brass substrate for plated and PVD finishes or a zinc substrate for painted finishes. Black is the standard finish, with other finishes available by special order (2-4 week lead time). Installation is flexible, allowing the thumb turn (in applicable models) to be mounted above or below the handle.
