This Truth® 15.30 split arm nested operator with a straight 4-1/2" (114.3mm) link is designed for use with wood and aluminum clad casement windows, specifically supplied on Weather Shield’s wood casement models. The unit features a nested housing design that is compatible with folding handles (sold separately), making it a popular choice for sill-mounted casement windows that require robust, smooth operation.
The split arm with straight link configuration provides reliable support and ease of movement for left-handed window installations. This operator is crafted from a zinc die cast body paired with E-Gard® or stainless steel arms for enhanced corrosion resistance, durability, and long service life. Please note, this item has been discontinued by the manufacturer and is available only while current inventory lasts.
Common applications include wood or vinyl replacement and new construction windows where a split arm mechanism is necessary. The link is mounted on top of the main arm. This hardware does not include a detach clip, crank handle, or installation screws, so these will need to be sourced separately.
