This strike plate (also known as a keeper) is designed for use on wood and vinyl sliding glass patio doors. The raised 1/2" (12.7mm) profile accommodates single point sliding door locks, making it an essential replacement part for many common patio door setups. The overall length is 4-1/4" (108.0mm), with a 1/2" (12.7mm) wide face at the top and a 5/8" (15.9mm) wide base. The rectangular keeper hole is sized at 1-1/4" (31.8mm) to fit single hook latch mechanisms.

Slotted screw holes allow for simple adjustment during installation, helping ensure a secure and proper fit to your door lock hardware. The screw hole centers measure 3-1/8" (79.4mm) apart. This strike plate is a direct replacement for older keepers with the marking "2153" and matches many standard designs found on Amesbury Truth Hardware and compatible sliding patio doors.
