Specifically, this piece is the top shootbolt extension from the 450 Series, designed for use as one of three sections required to complete the full multipoint locking mechanism. Made from durable stainless steel, this shootbolt extension provides both strength and corrosion resistance, making it a reliable choice for exterior swing doors subject to frequent use and exposure to the elements.

This top extension is paired with the 36" (914.4mm) handle height to fit an 80" (2032mm) tall door. The extension width measures 25/32" (20mm) and the overall length is 21-7/16" (544.5mm) with the shootbolt retracted. The shootbolt tip follows the 450 Standard Series specification. For different door handle heights, you may select other extension lengths as needed. Notably, the bottom and upper extensions are identical, streamlining replacements and ensuring straightforward installation or maintenance.
