Passive 60/92 Sentinel Multi-point door lock (SS) is the passive center section for double doors without an astragal, used with Sentinel Swing Multipoint XP25 systems. Features a 40-15/16" (1039.6mm) faceplate length and 25/32" (20mm) faceplate width, with a round hole (no tailpiece slot) and no thumbturn. Designed as the receiver gear box for shootbolts and compatible with select Jeldwen® and Caradco® door models.

Passive 60/92 Sentinel Multi-Point Door Lock - Stainless Steel
This is the passive (PS3) lock component designed for double door systems with no astragal separating the panels. It is specifically the center gearbox section of the Sentinel Swing Multipoint XP25 2-point passive lock, equipped with shootbolts. The passive gear box comes with a round hole instead of a tailpiece slot, and the related handle trim on the passive side does not feature a thumbturn.
When installed, the deadbolt from the active door fits into the receptacle on this passive lock, effectively preventing the handles from moving until unlocked. This component is essential for French or double doors that utilize a multipoint locking system for enhanced security and performance.
This listing is for the receiver gearbox, which includes receptacles for both the deadbolt and the spring latch. It is one of three required pieces to complete a passive multipoint lock with shootbolts. Please note that there are three similar gearbox options for this system; carefully match images and specifications to ensure compatibility.
