P3000® Deadbolt Lock Case 45/92

The P3000® Deadbolt Lock Case is an active gearbox component designed specifically for the deadbolt function within multipoint locking systems. Engineered for use with Premiere P3000® doors, this lock case handles the deadbolt independently from the upper or lower shootbolts, making it ideal for users who may not be familiar with complex multipoint locking mechanisms. Often referred to as a "babysitter lock," this design simplifies the locking and unlocking process, increasing ease of use and reliability in both residential and commercial applications.

Unlike traditional multipoint locks, the P3000® features two separate gearboxes: an upper deadbolt gearbox (this product) and a lower spring latch gearbox (sold separately). The lock case offered here is exclusively for the upper deadbolt operation and does not include the lower mechanism. This clear separation allows for straightforward operation—throw the deadbolt to lock and lift the handle to engage auxiliary locks; to unlock, retract the deadbolt and push the lever down to open the door.
