Fuzzy Weatherstrip .187" T-Backing x .250" Pile with Fin Seal
This fuzzy weatherstrip is designed for sealing gaps in wood, vinyl, fiberglass, and aluminum (metal) doors and windows. Its purpose is to improve thermal performance and minimize air, dust, and water infiltration around sashes and frames. This type of weatherstripping is often found in sliding and double-hung windows, patio doors, or other household fixtures that feature a slotted channel for weather seal installation.
The backing is a T-slot type, meaning it slides into a matching slotted channel. Exact sizing is critical for a proper seal. The backing width is .187" (3/16", 4.7mm) and the pile height is .250" (1/4", 6.4mm). This fuzzy pile includes a special fin seal (center fin) for extra protection against drafts, wind, and moisture creep. Color is gray, blending well with most window and door frames.
Orders are cut to length as specified, and you may order in single-foot increments for projects or 3,000' rolls for large-scale jobs. Pile height is important, but always ensure the backing width matches your channel for correct installation.
