The Forgings 10" Non-Keyed Handle Hardware is specifically designed for use on passive or dummy hinged doors that do not require key access or interior thumbturns. This handle set can function as a passive handle—which operates but does not lock independently—or as a dummy handle that remains fixed in place. Suitable for both interior and exterior doors that match these configurations, it helps ensure compatibility with multiple brands and door styles.

This set is a quality replacement option for Marvin® Active Keyed Handle Hardware, though the original Marvin® hardware is larger. The installation hole spacing remains identical, enabling straightforward upgrade or replacement without modifying the door. It is commonly used with a broad range of doors from brands such as Ashland®, Milgard®, Marvin®, Jeldwen®, Caradco®, Cantera®, Delta®, Pella®, Pozzi®, and PGT®. The handle’s transitional curved lever design and round top escutcheon plate add a simple, functional look compatible with modern and traditional doors.

A passive door, as noted, has no interior thumbturn; when locked from the active door, movement of the passive handle is prevented. If used as a dummy, the handles are fixed and non-operating. Conversion from passive to dummy is possible with fixing plates (not included).
