Ashland® Concealed Rod Face Plate – 1-1/16" x 16" Stainless Steel
This Ashland® Concealed Rod Face Plate is a replacement mortise lock cover designed for single and multipoint locks. Measuring 1-1/16" wide by 16" long (27.0mm x 406mm), it is commonly used on windows and doors by manufacturers including Jeldwen, Caradco, Marvin, and others. The plate is crafted from stainless steel for lasting durability and corrosion resistance in demanding environments, making it suitable for residential and commercial applications where reliable performance is essential.
This part is often located in the edge or stile of the sash and serves to cover and protect the lock mechanism for concealed rod systems. It is especially useful in the renovation of older windows and doors to maintain a secure and clean appearance while ensuring proper lock operation. The neutral design and finish make it compatible with a wide range of profiles and applications.
Standard finish is stainless steel. Special order finishes—Polished Brass PVD, Oil Rubbed Bronze PVD, and Antique Brass—are available at double the cost of stainless steel, with a 2–4 week lead time.
