Amesbury® 400B Active Handle Set for Multipoint Lock, Zinc Base

The Amesbury® 400B Series Active Handle Set is designed for use with multipoint lock systems on primary entry doors. This handle set is keyed for security and features an inside thumb turn. It’s compatible with most American multipoint locking systems and directly replaces hardware on Integrity by Marvin Cambridge® series, Milgard®, G-U / Ferco®, and other similar doors. Its curved lever design and rounded escutcheon plate provide reliable operation and a familiar look suitable for many door designs.

Built on a durable zinc base, this set is available in a variety of painted or plated finishes, with options for both economy and performance. The handle operates via a spring-loaded cassette for added lever return action, and attaches without set screws thanks to a snap ring holding system. The levers can be handed or reversed by removing and reattaching them, accommodating a range of door swing directions.

This set includes an American 5 pin rekeyable cylinder with a standard Schlage 5 pin (SC1) keyway, and is optionally available with a Kwikset-Weiser compatible keyway. It uses M5 x 58mm installation screws and has a 5/16" (8.0mm) square spindle. The escutcheon plate measures 1.80" x 9.25" (45.7mm x 235mm) with screw holes spaced at 7.665" (194.8mm), fitting doors with a 1-3/4" (44.5mm) thickness. Cylinder to handle spacing is 3-5/8" (92mm).
