This active multipoint lock features concealed shootbolt rods at the top and bottom of the door panel, providing secure multi-point locking action for enhanced door security. The lock is supplied with an attached faceplate that has rounded (radius) ends and is designed to fit doors used by several manufacturers. Its durable design makes it suitable for a variety of residential and commercial applications where a concealed rod locking system is specified.

The faceplate measures 1-1/16" (27.0 mm) wide by 16" (405.0 mm) long and offers a clean, finished look. The backset is 2-3/8" (60.0 mm), which is a common size for many modern entry doors. This listing does not include the shootbolt rods; only the gear box mechanism is provided. The faceplate is riveted to the lock case for increased strength and reliability.

The lock is operated by lifting the handle to extend the rods, then turning the key or thumbturn to extend the deadbolt. Changing the handing is straightforward—insert a screwdriver into the slot behind the latch, use the release, rotate the latch, and reinsert. Always verify correct function before final door closure.
