This Giesse® INOX mortise lock case is designed for multipoint lock systems commonly used on terrace or balcony doors. The lock mechanism features a stainless steel faceplate for durability and corrosion resistance, making it suitable for both residential and light commercial applications where secure, long-lasting performance is essential.

The faceplate measures 7/8" (22mm) wide and 14-7/8" (378mm) long, supporting a range of European-style door profiles. The backset is 1-3/4" (45mm), with a deadbolt projection of 3/4" (20mm) that adds an extra layer of security when engaged. The handle-to-cylinder (PZ) measurement is 3-5/8" (92mm), making it compatible with standard European lock trim hardware. The spindle hub diameter is 5/16" (8mm), fitting common handle sizes for multipoint locking systems.

Lock operation is straightforward: lift the handle to extend the deadbolt and additional locking points, then use a key or thumb turn to fully secure the lock. Handing can be changed as needed for left- or right-hand doors by following the manufacturer’s instructions for latch adjustment.
