1/2" Ribbed Channel Balance for Vinyl Jambliners – Regular Duty (Weather Shield #17 End Bracket)
This ribbed channel balance is designed for wood double-hung tilt-in windows that use vinyl jambliners, specifically for Weather Shield models made between 1999 and 2005. It comes with the #17 color-coded end bracket already attached and is classified as Regular Duty. These balances are not compatible with all-vinyl windows; they are intended exclusively for wood windows with vinyl liners.
The channel balances were originally available in beige and white to match jambliners. Color codes on the end brackets help identify the duty rating: White B or R (Regular Duty), Black HD (Heavy Duty), Blue TG (Triple Duty), Green G (Extra Heavy Duty), and Red TGX (Super Duty). This listing is specifically for Regular Duty versions (White B or R code).
The balances feature a 1/2" (12.7mm) ribbed steel channel, but the actual channel width measures 9/16" (14.3mm) and has a depth of 5/8" (15.9mm). Lengths vary from 10" (254mm) up to 52" (1321mm)—please confirm the required length for your window before ordering.

- Replacement balances are available for out-of-stock sizes: 620202.
- Works with most Weather Shield pivot pins. Compatible pivot pin shoes: 640015 (Left Hand), 640016 (Right Hand).
