American and European Cylinder Type

The brand of your multipoint lock is typically found along the faceplate.
Faceplate: The metal strip that runs along the edge of the door.

Deadbolt Throw: With the door ajar, measure how far out the deadbolt extends from the door.
Handle PZ: This is the distance from the center of the handle to the center of the thumb-turn piece.
Handle Height: This is the distance from the bottom of the door to the center of the handle, excluding any door sweeps.

Manual Locks: You must first pull up on the handles to operate the multipoint lock.
Automatic Locks: The multipoints engage on their own when you close the door.

Note: A lock can have a shootbolt plus an additional lock type. If this is the case, please select both types.
